Wales International Tom Lawrence is said to be fond of a move to Wrexham after he has become a free agent after the expiry of his contract with Rangers
A free agent that Ryan Giggs Afafgood when he was at Manchester United is reportedly eager to become a member of Wrexham. Welsh International Tom Lawrence is currently not affiliated after his contract with Scottish Club Rangers went at the end of last season.
The attacking midfielder, born in Wrexham, was plagued by injuries after his relocation from Derby County to Ibrox in 2022. Despite the setbacks, the 31-year-old succeeded in scoring 65 performances and getting 11 goals during his three-year-old Stint in Glasgow.

The Red Dragons, who achieved promotion from League One to the championship in April, have already signed one local talent in the summer transfer window. The North Wales outfit announced on Tuesday the signing of goalkeeper Danny Ward for a two -year deal, after his release from Leicester City.
If they succeed in securing Lawrence's signature, Wrexham would add a player who sharpened his skills under the best in the industry during his time at Manchester United.
He joined the Premier League heavyweights just seven years old and had the privilege of learning from Legends from Manchester United such as Sir Sir Alex Ferguson and Paul Scholes, as well as his hero Giggs.

Despite his long -term term of office at United, the first team outings of Lawrence were limited to a single senior match in May 2014 against Hull. At the time, juggling giggs with roles as a player manager of United when Lawrence played the majority of the game.

Lawrence said: “He was a big hero who grew up, there were a few. But he gave me my debut in Manchester United, so I will be grateful forever. Nothing will ever come close there.

“We went to the hotel and later that day he told me I started. I went back to my room and told my family and they all came up.”
