Wrexham is linked to a move for Jamie Vardy, but Rangers have now emerged as a potential destination and manager Russell Martin has tackled the rumors
Rangers -Baas Russell Martin has refused to exclude Jamie Vardy this summer, with the former international English international available on a free transfer. Vardy left Leicester after 13 years last season and is also linked to a move to Wrexham.

“I think I was asked for so many players,” he said. “Some kilometers away, some on the money. So in fact I'm not going to give you an answer to that. But I think you will find out who real is and who is not there in the coming weeks.
“I think we definitely want to do more [signings]Certainly. And probably also some players must also continue at some point, because the team is going very big and very heavy. “
Although Wrexham has long been credited with an interested in Vardy, reports recently came from Italy and claimed that Genoa had been in pole position to sign the striker. It was claimed that the club's sports director, Flavio Ricciardella, wanted to sign Vardy.
Riccardella is said to have drawn up a deal that would have been financed by support from sponsors, but Genoa -Baas Patrick Vieira is said to have the move Veto.
Vardy said he believes that he can still compete at the highest level and tell Sky Sports in May that he has no doubt about his assets. “No, but that's just me,” he said. “Football is a crazy world.
“You never know what will happen. I will continue until my legs tell me that I have to stop. My legs are fine. I do a sport that I love, it's what I have done since I was a small child that can continue for so long.”

Thinking about his time in Leicester, Vardy added: “You can talk to my family and they will all say that I am emotionless. It can do at the end of the game or whatever, but until that happens, I am literally only focused on the game.
“You don't get a chance to look back on it. It's about seeing the season with Momentum to start next season. I keep saying it and it's strange, but you don't get a chance to look back on. Because you are in it, the season ends up completely.
“Mentally and physically, it's a murderer. It puts on you. So by the time you had a few weeks to switch off, you'll be back in, you're ready for the new season. So it's just rolling in.”
