Chloe Kelly – Arsenal and England
The hero of England – again. Together with Michelle Agyemang, Chloe Kelly was one of the super subs in the Lionesses, when she had a hand in both Leeuweses equalizers against Sweden in the quarterfinals in the quarterfinals in the quarterfinals.
Kelly stopped football almost six months ago, unhappy in Manchester City. Her loan is moving to Arsenal revitalized her career and every time she has stepped on a football field, it has been electric. She now has a Champions League and another euro winners medal to show it.
The winger is now permanently back at the Gunners and will strive for a WSL title to add to her growing collection.
Hannah Hampton – Chelsea and England
Chelsea goalkeeper Hannah Hampton was a serial winner before she made her tournament debut this summer. She came in the euros behind the back of a domestic treble under Sonia Bompastor and was part of the English Euro 2022-winning team.
But it is demonstrable in the past 18 months where Hampton has really settled as a no. 1 in World Class, with its excellent performance in Euro 2025.
Not only were her rescues of vital importance in the games and two penalty shoot-outs, there were hardly any mistakes from Hampton because she was consistently calm and confident. Only 24, there is no doubt that she will continue to excel for years at both club and international level.
Mariona Caldentey – Arsenal and Spain
Mariona Caldentey was one of the striking players of Arsenal last season and brought the touch of class that the Gunners needed to push them further.
She continued to show her talent when Spain reached the final and scored the opening goal against England. It was her second of the tournament and also added two assists to her count.
It was one of the breaking end of the tournament for Caldentey, who had saved a penalty in the shoot-out by Hampton. But her contribution to the Run from Spain to the final was vital and will certainly be for Arsenal again next season.
Stina Blacktenius – Arsenal and Sweden
Another arsenal Vooruit, another player of the quality of the match influencing. Only weeks after her goal of Arsenal won the Champions League, Blackstenius again showed why she is one of the best no 9s in the world.
She scored in three consecutive games against Poland, Germany and in the quarterfinals against Sweden. Her positioning and movement was of vital importance for a team that trusted on crosses for their goals with a great effect.
Blackstenius competes with Alessia Russo before the starting point at Arsenal, and has the habit of saving the gunners with goals from the bank. With both players demonstrably in their prime, their contributions will continue to intrigue.
Sjoeke Nusken – Chelsea and Germany
It was a tough tackling, no-nonsense version of Sjoeke Nusken in the midfield of Germany. She helped twice drag her country level – against Denmark and France – in games they were going to win.
She was also the go-to fine for Germany and scored shoot-out victory in the quarter-final. It was redemption for an earlier missed place, in which Nusken showed the Mantra 'Mentality Monster' who helped her to be so successful with Chelsea.
Johanna Rytting Kanyd – Chelsea and Sweden
Sweden were devastating with their wing game, in which Johanna Rytting Kanyd started in every match. She registered two assists, and is in the top five of the tournament for created opportunities, as well as tried and completed take-ons.
In anticipation of the tournament, Rytting Kanery dated a new two -year -old deal with Chelsea and has registered the impressive figures comparable at club level. She remains vital for the success for club and country, with a Champions League title especially in her sights for the blues.
Leah Williamson – Arsenal and England
For the second European Championship in a row, Williamson lifted the trophy as the victorious captain of England. She followed an impressive campaign for Arsenal with a similar solid show in Switzerland.
She was at the top of the tournament ranges for possessions won in the defensive third, and tried and completed in the top three for long steps. Although the midfield of England was not the most effective, the link with balls over the top – Williamson gave that.
She also had to deal with two different centerback partners and had to draw on all her leadership qualities to send England through a number of difficult moments.
Lia Walti – Arsenal and Switzerland
Euro 2025 hosts Switzerland were one of the surprise packages of the tournament. With house support behind them, they reached the quarterfinals for the first time at a European championship. It followed their round-of-16 performance at the World Cup 2023.
Arsenal's Lia Walti leads her side to success on a home tournament is one of the determining images – something her club teammate Williamson knows all about.
She registered in the top ten of the tournament for tackles and possessions won in the middle and defensive third parties. Despite her future -oriented role this summer, she remains demonstrably undervalued by the wider WSL.
Lucy Bronze – Chelsea and England
A warrior of a player if there was ever one. Lucy Bronze not only played the entire tournament with a broken tibia – holding her own thigh in the semi -final was the embodiment of her steel and her leadership and experience was invaluable for England.
In the quarterfinals against Sweden, she scored the first of a comeback with two goals and the winning penalty in the shoot-out. She was in tears when she was replaced before the last 15 minutes extra time, unable to help the lionesses across the line on the field.
Bronze gives her everything when she gets on the field and was also the key in Chelsea's Treble Succession. Subsequently, the five-time Champions League winner hopes to guide De Blues to that elusive European title.
Kosovare Asllani – London City Lionesses and Sweden
Kosovare Asllani is a personified by the leader. She was the leader of the London City Lionesses to their first promotion to the WSL before she led Sweden to another international tournament.
She also excelled in the future. She scored twice – including within two minutes against England – and helped three more goals. Asllani led a good example and will be a welcome addition to the WSL next season.
Michelle Agyemang – Arsenal and England
The new superstar of England. Coming from the bank to score two late equalizers in under pressure conditions is brilliant for each player, let alone a 19-year-old at her first big tournament with only a handful of caps to her name.
That was her impact, Aferemang was called as the young player of the tournament, and all eyes will be on her when the WSL season starts.
Last season, she put on loan in Brighton and Arsenal can choose to send her back on loan. But there is also a merit in learning Alessia Russo and Blackstenius for the Gunners. Anyway, Agryemang has a bright future for her.
Alessia Russo – Arsenal and England
Another Arsenal player who excelled under the custody of Renee Sleesers, Russo was the quiet workhorse of England in front. She scored two goals – including the important equalizer against Spain – but it was her working speed elsewhere that her team helped.
Making the important runs, dragging defenders out of possession, keeping the ball up, defending when needed – all the characteristics that make her an essential part of each team. This time Russo may not have taken the headlines, but she has contributed no less to the success of England.
Hannah Cain – Leicester and Wales
Wales now has two major tournament nitrage to their name – and one was scored by Hannah Cain van Leicester. She also scored against the Republic of Ireland in the second stage of their play-off final of the euro to send the dragons to Switzerland.
It was also a shocked effort along Hampton that, despite the heavy defeat, was emphatically celebrated by the large Wales -Contingent who made the journey. A moment to remember for Cain and her country.
Victoria Pelova – Arsenal and the Netherlands
Despite a bad general show from the Netherlands, Pelova was one of the clear stars. After a long time with an ACL injury, she ran into Wales and France to announce her return to the international stage.
Of the five goals that the Dutch scored in Switzerland, Pelova yielded two. She almost looked back at her pre-injury herself and hopes to bring the same for Arsenal next season.
