Professional wrestlers have produced mixed results at the transition to the world of MMA.
Brock Lesnar is the best of them after he has become the UFC heavyweight champion in just four fights.
CM Punk did not do so well because he lost back-to-back fighting against unknown opponents before retiring.
Bobby Lashley had an impressive 15-2 point in the sport before he returned to the WWE. Batista, on the other hand, won a sloppy debut from TKO before he decided that MMA was not for him and instead pursued a film career.

De Undertaker considered MMA movement in the nineties
The Undertaker – real name Mark Calaway – is generally considered one of the greatest wrestlers of all time after enjoying a Hall of Fame career with 14 title victories.
However, things may have been so much different if he considered following a different path in the 1990s.
The Undertaker admits that he wanted to change sport and really wanted to fight when MMA became popular.
In the end it was his lack of struggling Fundamentals and the fact that he had a young family to feed that he led him to stay in his lane.
“To be honest, this is what many people don't know,” Undertaker told Busted Open Radio.
“UFC is currently coming. They grow. If I had an amateur thrust background, chances are that I would have tested those waters. I felt that I could have gotten my stand -up. I have no idea, I might get my A – broken.
“At the moment you have to understand the immense pressure that I am below. I have a family. If I had an amateur background, a basis, something to base my whole thing on, I would probably have tested those waters. ”
De Undertaker responds to the entrance of UFC 276
Despite the fact that he was chosen against a career in MMA, the impact of the Undertaker on the sport is noticeable, especially when fighters decided to cosplay for their ring walk as him.
Michael 'Venom' Page was the most recent MMA star to simulate the WWE icon. 'MVP' went full Undertaker when he made his promotion debut against Kevin Holland on UFC 299 in March 2024.
The most striking hunter to do this, however, is Israel Adesanya, who mimics the Undertaker before defending his middleweight belt against Jared Cannonier on UFC 276 in July 2022.
The man himself looked from home and impressed by what he saw of 'Stylebender'.
“I thought it was great,” said the Undertaker after UFC 276.
“He is not only a great hunter, he is also a great entertainer!
“Tyson Fury is knocked down and sits up like The Undertaker and Adesanya uses my strike! Pretty damn cool! “
