Arsenal is strongly connected to Rodrygo, but Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso has hinted that the Brazilian international is ready to stay in the Spanish capital
Xabi Alonso has repeated that Rodrygo is happy in Real Madrid, while Arsenal is still connected to a blockbuster Summer Swoop for the highly appreciated Brazil International.
The Gunners want to reinforce their forward line in the transfer window and are known for being a new Nr. 9. But Mikel Arteta is also on the market for a broad attacker and Rodrygo, 24, has emerged as a top goal after completing the season from the Bernabeu.
There has been a lot of speculation about a movement for Rodrygo, whose future has been in the Spanish capital despite a change in management at Los Blancos.
But in the midst of reports from Spain that the star of £ 67 million likes to stay and fight for a place under the new regime, Alonso has hinted that this case will be.
“I know what had happened in the last part, it was not easy for him,” Alonso said about the former Santosman for the Real Madrid opening match at the Club World Cup.

Reports in Spain have indicated that Rodrygo would rather stay in place, while the star itself recently shared a selection of training fiques with the caption “Happy”.
And while the chances that Rodrygo Madrid would exchange for London, seem to be slim after the comments from Alonso, who has not prevented Arsenal defender, Gabriel, to give his countryman a glowing approval during a recent performance of Podcast.

“I don't do that. No, I don't really do that,” Gabriel replied when he was asked to Rodrygo who had with the Emirates with the Emirates during the Podpah podcast.
“But I would like that clearly. Rodrygo is a phenomenon for me. He is not in Arsenal … If it depends on me, I have already told people, he is a phenomenon.
“His name is mentioned a lot. If of course it was up to me.”
Rodrygo is not the only wide forward that is connected this summer to Arsenal, although another top goal, Nico Williams, seems to be tended to become a member of Barcelona, rather than the Gunners.
They have made progress in their search for a new striker with reports in Germany who claim that Arsenal 'has reached an agreement' beyond personal conditions with RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko.
