Xavi Simons’ reps accelerate Chelsea transfer as Blues target 4-player clearout

Chelsea wants to make progress at a number of sales while they want to go through deals for RB Leipzig -attacking midfielder Xavi Simons and Ajax defender Jorrel Hato

The Entourage of Xavi Simons has traveled to the training camp for the season of RB Leipzig while watching Chelsea through the switch from the Dutchman. The blues have identified the 22-year-old attacking midfielder as a primary target and want to exploit their strong relationships with his agent Ali Barat to get the exciting acquisition over the line.

Chelsea is aware that both Bayern Munich and Arsenal have also shown interest in Simons, but there is trust that they already have the approval of the player after presenting their project, including where they expect the former Paris Saint-Germain and PSV-DerSk to bed in the side of Enzo Maresca.

The Club World Cup champions also started contacts with RB Leipzig, who appreciate Simons around £ 60 million and are now waiting for Chelsea to present a formal offer.

It is understood that the brother Faustino of Simons, who operates as one of the advisers of the Holland International, traveled to the Leipzig training camp in Donaueschingen, Germany has traveled alongside a representative of Barat's Agency Epic Sports to speed up the process.

Simons has normally trained next to his teammates throughout the week, although it is still to be seen whether he will be involved in the friendly Saturday against Toulouse, because it is now becoming clearer that his departure will probably be released soon.

Discussions also take place with Ajax for Jorrel Hato and a first verbal offer to start negotiations has already been beaten back by the Dutch giants. Hato's omission from Ajax's 5-1 friendly demolition of Celtic on Thursday evening was planned in advance when the young defender returned to the training for the season after his involvement in the U21 Euro. There is a growing optimism that the deal is done, because the 19-year-old wants to complete the move.

In the meantime, Chelsea tries to make room in their team for newcomers – Juventus' Kenan Yildiz and Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho are admired – with Christopher Nunku, Joao Felix, Raheem Sterling and Nicolas Jackson under a list of potential high -professional departure hours.

Benfica is currently in a discussion with the blues about a deal for former player Felix, whom they sold to Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2019 for no less than £ 113 million.

Chelsea effectively wants to earn the £ 45 million back that they have paid Atletico for the Portuguese attacker last summer, but Benfica cannot get close to that figure.

So far, Benfica has proposed to pay a bulk rate worth just over £ 20 million for 50 percent of the rights of the attacker, which would be reflected by a large sold -out clause with a maximum value of 50 percent.

Conversations with super -agent Jorge Mendes are going on to unlock the deal – because Felix has already made it clear that he wants to return to Lisbon – but the operation looks complex. Other formulas and left-hand clauses have also been discussed, including Benfica who may pay the blues a reduction in money if they reject offers for the attacker in the future.

Felix has been training in Cobham for the past two weeks after he was excluded from Chelsea's Club World Cup team after his six-month loan spell with AC Milan, but his future lies away from Stamford Bridge after the new signing Dario Essugo took his number 14 shirt when signing Sporting CP.

Napoli is the newest club that gets the chance to sign Raheem Sterling, which is admired by Antonio Conte, but every deal would require that the English international is taking a considerable wage reduction.

Chelsea prefers a permanent sale and value -staring at around £ 20 million, but Napoli will probably only consider a loan that would require the blues to pay part of his wages.

Renato Veiga is still in line to leave after Atletico Madrid had withdrawn their interest, two public Premier League clubs asked questions, while Bayern Munich continued to follow the situation.

The blues are not actively looking for striker Jackson, but would listen to suitable offers, although they appreciate Jackson on several £ 80 million and use the Liverpool deal to sign Hugo Ekitike as a benchmark during future negotiations.

Manchester United is currently excluding a Straight-Cash Swoop for Jackson and every movement should be on their part to involve other players in the opposition direction to West London.

Fulham is the last side to register interest in Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and the cottagers would be open to exploring a first loan with a buy-option. West Ham also loves the ex-Leicester Maestro, who could stay with Chelsea because he is a popular member of Maresca's team.
