GRANIT XHAKA has shown off a dramatic new look during a family ski holiday.
The former Arsenal star hit the slopes during the Bundesliga winter break.
Xhaka, 32, left the Gunners for Bayer Leverkusen in 2023 and has become one of the side's most important players.
He played a crucial role in the team that won the Bundesliga and the DFB Pokal last season.
This included a run of 51 games unbeaten under manager Xabi Alonso.
But unlike Arsenal, Xhaka will be given the festive period off from work due to the winter break in Germany.
The midfielder has taken the opportunity to go on holiday with their pregnant wife Leonita and their two daughters, Ayana and Laneya.
They visited the Arosa Kulm Hotel and Alpin Spa in Switzerland and enjoyed some time hiking the slopes.
He shared photos from the trip on Instagram with the caption: “Family Time is the Best Time.”
However, Xhaka looked almost unrecognizable with his new haircut, which can be seen in the photos.
The Swiss international has chopped off most of his hair as he goes for a buzz cut.
Fans are shocked by the bold new look, as they reacted in the comments section.
One posted: “Xhaka buzz cut ahead of GTA 6.”
A second commented: “They are not ready for the buzzing Xhaka.”
A third wrote: “Just when he couldn't be more intimidating in midfield.”
A fourth said: “Looking good Granit.”
Xhaka will return to action for Leverkusen against Borussia Dortmund on January 10.
It will be five weeks since their previous match, a 1-0 win over Bayern Munich in the DFB Pokal.
