Brentford Vooruit Yoane Wissa reportedly wants to leave the club this summer, even though the bees are willing to open conversations about a new contract.
Wissa, 28, has attracted the attention of Tottenham, Newcastle and Nottingham Forest after scoring 19 goals in the Premier League last season.
Brentford has therefore tried to relocate him by entering into a dialogue about a new deal for the Dr. Congo International.
According to BBC Sport, however, he seems ready to 'explore options elsewhere' in what has been a turbulent summer for the West London side so far.
Van Wissa would not make sense to discuss improved conditions, with only 12 months left to walk his current contract – although it has an option to be extended by one year.
Brentford does not want to lose both Wissa and Bryan Mbeumo in this transfer window – although the last of their two stars ahead to Manchester United will move after reaching an agreement on a transfer of £ 71 million.
United refused to comment on reports that they have offered £ 65 million plus £ 6 million in add-ons for Mbeumo, but it is believed that the 25-year-old Cameroon Forward will now undergo a medical one.
Mbeumo will not complete the move on time to participate in his new teammates when United plays their first pre-season-friendly against Leeds in Stockholm on Saturday.
However, he will be admitted to the American tour when Ruben Amorim and his players will fly to Chicago next week.
The player got his dream movement after he insisted that he would leave Brentford alone for United in the midst of rival interest of Tottenham.
As for Brentford, it marks a test period for a party that has settled in the Premier League since winning promotion to the top flight in 2021.
The potential departure of both Wissa and Mbeumo – in combination with the long -term former manager Thomas Frank's decision to take the Tottenham course and the move of ex -captain Christian Norgaard to Arsenal – beckons in a period of uncertainty.
They started looking for attacking reinforcements, with £ 35 million offered for Ipswich wing player Omari Hutchinson, which is considered enthusiastic.
As revealed for the first time by Mail Sport on Wednesday, the bees have identified Hutchinson as the ideal man to supplement their attack.
Everton is also interested in Hutchinson and there is a chance that Nottingham Forest can enter the race.
Forest lost Anthony Elanga to Newcastle last week and remained in dispute with Tottenham, who thought they had activated the release clause of Morgan Gibbs-White, but the deal for the attacking midfielder should not yet complete, in the midst of anger at the city.
The relocation of Brentford for Hutchinson takes place in the week that they signed former Liverpool and once England captain Jordan Henderson.
Henderson, described by bee owner Keith Andrews as 'one of the most influential leaders in the modern Premier League years' will fill the void left by Norgaard
