UFC -Superster Dustin Poirier was the victim of a brutal roast during a comedy show in his hometown.
Dustin Poirier is weeks away from his expected UFC pension fight against an opponent to be received. Although the rival of Poirier has not been announced for his last UFC fight, the promotion is said to work on a return to New Orleans for Poirier to drop the gloves in his home.
In the meantime, Poirier enjoys some leisure time while he prepares to take his last walk to the Octagon after a historical career in the cage. After initial pension after a lightweight title loss for Islam Makhachev on UFC 302, Poirier changed thoughts and opened another fight before he stopped it.
Although Poirier has hoisted UFC Gold during his career, he never held a linear UFC belt. He won the interim UFC light weight title by performing Max Holloway on UFC 236.

Comedian roasts Dustin Poirier for repeated title shortcomings in Louisiana Show
Poirier is perhaps one of the largest UFC hunters who never have a linear belt. Although he has had several chances to win a linear championship, he was short of people like Khabib Nurmagomedov, Charles Oliveira and Makhachev.
Despite its title discounts, Poirier is considered a UFC -Superster and a Savant in his hometown Lafayette, Louisiana. His philanthropic work has helped local youth with school supplies and other supplies.
But Poirier's performance did not protect him against roasting during a recent Roast Battle Show from Lafayette Comedy Club. While Poirier was close to the stage at the show organized by comedian Brian Moses, comedian Ken Edwards focused on the UFC -standing with a singer.
“Dustin, I don't want to fight you, I'm not really afraid of you!” Said Edwards. “I know how to get you, the only thing I have to do is get behind the title, you will never reach me!”
The roast received a positive response from the presence of the crowd, including Poirier. Fortunately for Edwards, Poirier was not in a fighting mood in the clip below.
Dustin Poirier ready for 'latest dance' as a UFC career a dramatic conclusion is approaching
Poirier, a likely future UFC-Hall or Famer, has cemented himself as a large number always since he went to lightweight in 2015. During his light term of office Conor McGregor (twice), Michael Chandler, Anthony Pettis, Anthony Pettis and Justin Gaethje.
Poirier focuses on various 'legends' for his UFC pension fight later this year. After a potential collision with Paddy Pimblett, Poirier was quickly eliminated against the rising lightweight.
A trilogy with Gaethje is a potential option for the last hurray of Poirier in the Octagon. Gaethje will be opposed to Rafael Fiziev on UFC 313 next weekend, and if he comes out of the fight relatively unused, the UFC can choose to turn it around for a collision with Poirier.
