The relationship of Dana White and Oscar de la Hoya has always been rocky, and things can get worse for them.
Since building the UFC in the largest combat sport promotion in the world, Dana White has chosen his next company while he wants to save boxing.
A few weeks ago it was announced that White cooperates with Turki Alshikh to launch a new boxing competition called 'Tko Boxing', and they plan to run it in the same way as the UFC is performed.
The UFC boss has been teasing a boxing promotion for several years after he originally made Zuffa Boxing with that now.

Oscar de la Hoya Flames Dana White's Move to Boxing
Although there is a part of the boxing world that is enthusiastic about the arrival of White in the sport, he was spotted by former Pro, Pauli Malinaggi.
Not only that, but white has been warned by fellow promoter, Eddie Hearn, that the boxing world can be ruthless and he will have to sleep with 'one eye open'.
Despite the fact that Dana and Hearn have a considerable relationship, Oscar de la Hoya is a boxing promoter that is not White's biggest fan.
De la Hoya and White have never seen face to face and have always made clear how they think about each other and the Golden Boy boxing promoter has given his opinion about the switch from White to boxing.
“Dana White does not know boxing, we have let interesting people come into sport, try to promote, manage this and that over the years and try to get it in the wrong direction and change the sport of boxing,” De la Hoya told Fight Hub TV.
“It is clear that we all want boxing to grow and get better, to ensure that the hunters are always paid well and that is the most important thing about boxing that the hunters are paid.
“In contrast to the UFC where it will be interesting how the UFC hunters will respond when fighters get so much money in boxing, then Dana does not pay the UFC hunters … we can all change boxing,” he went on.
Dana White wants to build bridges in boxing
Over the years, White has been very critical of boxing, criticizing promoters and hunters for the way the sport has changed.
In anticipation of his move to that world, he realizes that he has to build some bridges that he has previously burned.
“I have spoken a lot of spoking over the past 25 years, so I have to do a pair, I have to go to work and not just pick out the infrastructure, I will find out who we are going to hire and start building a team as we do in the UFC,” said White at the UFC 313 Post-Fight Press Conference.
“There are guys I like and guys I don't like, I would imagine that I will keep the guys I like and the guys I don't like, so I am not fun, so I am sure that nothing will change, it will probably get worse if there is something,” White went on.
