Napoli coach Antonio Conte says that his team performs above expectations, because they remain firm in the race for their second Serie A title in three years.
A second half header from Scott Mctominay gave Napoli a 1-0 win over relegation-threatened Monza on Saturday.
It was a victory that moved Conte's his level with leaders Inter before the defensive champions visit Bologna on Sunday.
And Conte thinks that his team goes beyond their limits to keep pace with the Nerazzurri.
“We are fighting for something unexpected and unimaginable,” Conte told reporters
“At the beginning of the year, who would have said that Napoli would fight with Inter for the first place?
“We really go beyond all limits.”

Napoli, who recently struggled on the road, assured their first victory since mid-January, when they defeated Atalanta 3-2.
This was the first time that they have won successive league games since a point of seven consecutive victories between December and January.
“We didn't win away from home for a while. Today we did that and I am also happy with the fact that the team was always in the game, a synonym of great adulthood,” Conte added.
“We must continue to believe and have a bit of luck. Unfortunately, happiness is very hard for us since January.
“But we believe in it, the players are commendable in difficult times. In difficult times we create an important basis.
“Seeing all the audience that supports us and dreams with us. We care. But it gives me enormous responsibilities.”
