The legendary career of Jon Jones in the UFC is approaching his end and there is one thing that wants to achieve the greatest of all time when he has finished competing.

UFC Heavyweight Champion Jones continues to receive an aerial weather of the UFC fan base for postponing a potential title Unification Fight against Tom Aspinall.

Jon Jones wants to reach BJJ Black Belt after UFC career

Although he is generally considered the greatest hunter of all time, 'bones' is still only a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Although Jones is not known for his dominance in the grasp department, he has earned his name as the greatest ever because of his pure well -completedness, making it surprising that he has still not reached the top in BJJ.

Nevertheless, the 37-year-old has revealed that being a black belt in Jiu-Jitsu is something that he would like to reach if he withdraws from his UFC career.

“Yes, I am a purple belt, I have probably been to Gracie Barra for six years, six or seven years old, and I don't like to train in the GI because I don't compete with GI on Kaal,” Jones began to explain in an interview with Geoffrey Woo.

“My professor tells me that, to become a black band, I have to spend a sufficient amount of time in the GI. Sometimes I love pleasure, when the boys tease me about being a purple belt, I also remind them that I have the ultimate golden belt in combat sports.

“But a black belt symbolizes absolutely much patience and spent years spent years. It is something for me to inspire to come after I retired from the Octagon,” Jones continued.

Jones refers to fighting with Tom Aspinall

Although conversations apparently have hit a block between the UFC and Jones with regard to booking the Aspinall fight, 'Bones' recently dropped a hint that he will fight against the Brit.

The heavyweight champion shared a photo of a wall in his house, filled with all the UFC posters he spoken, leaving a space in the corner for what looks like a last poster.

“The wall is almost filled … But believe me, the story is still written. The best yet to come,” he ended his statement.

It is unclear on which date the promotion focuses on the monumental fight, but it is probably one of the biggest fights ever when it finally happens.
