The UFC light weight was an interested observer when Belal Muhammad and Jack della Maddalena on Saturday evening to the Welterweight title in the Bell Center in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, scrap.
Islam Makhachev recently announced his intention to go to the 170LB division if 'JDM' won on UFC 315, and that is exactly what happened when the Aussie Favorite Outpoint Belal Muhammad over five laps.
After the fight, the Khabib Nurmagomedov protege confirmed his next opponent in an update of nine words.

Makhachev initially sent a message from support to Muhammad, one of his training partners.
“Go up, champion,” he tweeted to the usual welterweight King.
The pound-for-pound superstar continued to confirm his plan to go up and fight against the new champion.
Makhachev added: “Time to become a double champion. #Inshaallah. Let's go.”
Jack della Maddalena promises to avenge Alexander Volkanovski
Makhachev has two high -profile victories over UFC Vederweight Champion Alexander Volkanovski.
During his interview after the fight, Della Maddalena promised to take revenge on his friend and training partner.
“I think it's a great challenge,” he said Daniel Cormier.
“You know, he is pound-for-pound number one.
“I'm going back to people.”
