Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola will make a decision at the end of the season about the future of Jack Grealish.
Grealisk has fallen out of grace at Guardiola since his leading role in the Driedwale campaign of City in 2023.
The 29-year-old made this period only seven Premier League-Start and was left on the couch when City crashed to a 1-0 defeat in the FA Cup final on Saturday against Crystal Palace.
That snub has fueled speculation that the wing player of England could leave the Etihad Stadium during the summer transfer window.
Guardiola said there will be discussions between the departing director of Voetbal Txiki Begiristain, his successor Hugo Viana and Grealish's representatives before he decides whether he will still be at the city next season.
“We didn't talk, I didn't talk to him,” Guardiola told reporters on Monday.
“People don't believe me, but these things are from the agents and the club and Txiki, and in this case also Hugo. Both will decide.
“What will happen will happen, but he has to come back to play minutes again.”
Guardiola accepts former Aston Villa star Grealiskh, who has two years old about his contract, will not be happy with his lack of action.
“It's not just Jack. There is no player in my dressing room, and I think all the changing rooms around the world are luckily if they don't play,” he said.
“When the team wins and win, they have to find out how everything happens, but they are not happy.
“They are here to play and if they don't play, they are not satisfied. That is the normal position in all clubs.”
A player who absolutely leaves is Kevin De Bruyne, who will make his last home area for the club in the Premier League collision on Tuesday with Bournemouth.
The 33-year-old midfielder is without a contract in June and will leave after a glorious decade in the Etihad in which he won 16 trophies.
Despite the Belgian statement, he is still good enough to play in the Premier League, Guardiola believes that the time is ripe to continue after injuries and poor form has reduced its effectiveness in the past two years.
“There are players who are really difficult to replace, really, very difficult for many reasons,” he said.
“We know that but the season we have done is the season we did and we can't deny it. Of course we have to go on.”
