Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal remains hot when chasing Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes, despite the insistence of Ruben Amorim that he is not for sale this summer
Already Hilal refuses to give up an eye -watery transfer deal for Bruno Fernandes – while club heads are a third meeting with his representatives in a row. The Saudi giants want to strengthen their team with a range of superstar signing sessions for the club World Cup prior to their group H Opener against Real Madrid on June 18.
Fernandes has 19 goals and 19 assists in all competitions this season and the budget of the summer transfer of Manchester United is expected to be determined by the result of their Europa League final against Tottenham.
Amorim said prior to their 4-1 semi-final victory at Athletic Club: “Our idea has not changed. We want to keep the best players and Bruno is clearly one of the top players in the world. We want Bruno here.
“It's easy to understand [his importance] – Not only because of the figures, but also the way he plays and the importance he has during his five years here. It is normal for many clubs to want a player like Bruno. He is a leader and he is the captain, so he is really important. He is a top player, we need top players. “
Fernandes wants to win silverware at United and it is clear that the team is on an upward process under Amorim with a series of large signing sessions – Matheus Cunha, Viktor Gyokeres, Liam Delap, Jonathan Tah and Bryan Mbeumo are among their goals – in the coming months.
