Arsenal fans left furious after Antonio Rudiger STAMP on Myles Lewis-Skelly

Arsenal fans were furious after Antonio Rudiger escaped a red card, even though they seemed to stamp on Myles Lewis-Skelly. The two came together during an incident loaded affair in the Bernabeu on Wednesday evening.

Arsenal went to Spain with a 3-0 advantage after the first stage, with a 2-1 victory in the night that booked their place in the semi-final of the Champions League. Despite the progress, Arsenal supporters were still furious after former Chelsea star Rudiger was allowed to stay on the field.

During the game the German was involved in a foot race with Lewis-Skelly. The latter fell, with Rudiger planting his foot on the groin of the young person, causing him to shy away from pain. And although it happened to be, Arsenal -fans were convinced that there was an intention and former Chelsea -Man Rudiger should have had his marsorders.

A fan wrote: “The rudiger did not get a card for his stamp on MLS, is me outside of me”, with a different addition: “Rudiger can hit and then stamp on Lewis-Skelly and play the ref play on …”

Criticism kept coming through the game. A fan of Arsenal said: “That Rudiger stamp on Lewis-Skelly is a red card in every game,” with a further supporter who writes: “How is it rudiger in this game ???? That stamp was intentional and should be a red card.”

There turned out to be a widespread agreement about the incident, while Arsenal fans expressed their anger. Another fan said: “Rudiger is filthy how can he get away with that stamp on Lewis Skelly,” with another conclusion: “That is a rudder stamp on Skelley. Waste! He deleted that.”

The incident was just one of the controversial moments during the game in Spain. Arsenal was fined the first half after a VAR check, only for Bukayo Saka to miss.

Real Madrid then thought they had their own spot – kick when Kylian Mbappe fell under the challenge of Declan Rice – the last one was booked. But a long VAR check saw the decision canceled and withdrawn his yellow card.
