
Andrea Berta has taken over as Arsenal Sporting Director after the EDU exit earlier this season and the Italian started to make progress in one of the top priorities of the club
One of the first tasks of Andrea Berta as Arsenal Sporting Director is a new contract for Ethan Nwaneri. The teenager will be rewarded for a Breakout season with an improved deal, with Berta to open conversations.
Nwaneri signed his first professional contract towards the end of the 2023-24 season after changing 17. He came to the first team by Mikel Arteta after making his Premier League debut at 15, but now takes part of the photo of the first team.
Despite regular starting matches of the bank, the teenager has eight goals and two assists this season at a speed of one target involvement for every 120 minutes on the field. Undoubtedly the choice of the couple came into a 5-1 victory against Manchester City, while he also scored the first Champions League goal from his career to Girona.
According to BBC Sport, a new long -term deal for Nwaneri – who opened its England Under -21 account in March – is an 'important internal objective' for the London Club.
