Aggie Beever-Jones scored a dramatic winner of the stopping time to give Chelsea a 1-0 victory over Liverpool, to secure an unbeaten season for the blues and put a new milestone in the League of the ladies.
Chelsea became the first club in the WSL history that completed a season of 22 games without losses and the run-away champions broke their record points to do this, so that the campaign ended with 60 points.
The Invincible League win has concluded an incredible debut season for Chelsea and Sonia Bompastor, who still have the opportunity to win a domestic Treble, which the Women's League Cup has already lifted. They are confronted with Manchester United in the FA Cup final on May 18.
The celebrations on Stamford Bridge on Saturday were a reflection of the remarkable Chelsea campaign, with players and fans who participated in the pleasure.
Bompastor looked up with her four children by her side and gave an honest reaction when he was asked how special it was to share the moment with her family.
“It was great. I only had goosebumps because sometimes behind the scenes [my children] Cry because you are traveling and not at home, “she said.
“It can be difficult, but they understand your work, and it is even better when they can share these moments with you. They know what it means for us.
“I think they realized how happy they are. If they are sometimes sad, I have these moments to remember why we do it as a family.
“It's the best you can give to your children.”

For Chelsea this season was a historic, characterized by their sixth consecutive WSL title and an undefeated run that only makes them the fourth English ladies team that goes without loss for a whole season.
Chelsea itself did it earlier in 2017-18 after 18 games, and again in 2019-2020, although that season was shortened because of the Coronavirus Pandemie, while Manchester City (2016) and Arsenal (2012) had also done it in 16 and 14 match seasons.
Under Bompastor, Chelsea also overshadowed their own record points in 2022-23 (58), with Saturday's victory over Liverpool that she took up to 60 points.
Bompastor thought about the meaning of their undefeated campaign and added: “To achieve that, is more than the title for me.”
She revealed that she had not considered it a possibility until Chelsea had protected the WSL title with two more games.
When asked whether Chelsea is the largest WSL team in history, Bompastor gave a measured response.
“It's hard to say that. To be able to win the club six titles in a row, we have been consistent and every year we managed to win trophies,” she said.
“Perhaps this year that we were unbeaten this year makes it even more special because it has never happened before.
“If you think about that, we will now be part of history. We had this undefeated season and we broke records in terms of points, so it will remain in history.”

The results of Chelsea were phenomenal, although their performance was not always flawless.
They won 10 times with a margin of one goal, with 17 of their 56 goals in the last 15 minutes of matches, including eight in stopping time.
“It is sometimes difficult to describe my feelings and emotions. We had the right mentality from the start of the season to the end,” said Bompastor.
“We have been consistent, even when sometimes performance was not the best – we have always found a way to win and get the three points.
“I think the game we had against Arsenal maybe [in January] Probably when we started to realize that we were in a really good position to win the competition.
“The second part of the season was more difficult because we were not as dominant as we wanted to have been.
“For me it is a great achievement because we are able to be consistent, unbeaten and in this competition it means a lot because it is really competitive.”
