French wonderkid ‘agrees to join Manchester United’, with 18-year-old set to sign as free agent this summer

French Wonderkid Enzo Kana-Biyik has been agreed to become a member of Manchester United this summer of the expiry of his contract in Le Havre.

The 18-year-old striker is a highly appreciated prospect, but chose not to extend his deal at the Normandy club.

Earlier this week, Mail Sport reported that conversations between Kana-Biyik and the Old Trafford Club made way.

And now, according to Le Parisien, the player and his family have made the decision to take the switch to United.

Le Havre had kept the hope that he would expand his deal to further develop with the relegation-threatened Ligue 1-side.

But the son of Cameroon legend André Kana-Biyik is now expected to move to the Premier League.

The report claims that he has presented clear plans to make progress, but will spend the first season on loan in Lausanne-Sport, another club of Ineos in Switzerland.

The attacker born in Paris has to appear a senior in Ligue 1, but scored eight goals in 14 games in the Championnat National U19 competition.

United is also on the market for a striker that can improve the side in the near future, with the men of Ruben Amorim getting closer to a deal for Wolves' Matheus Cunha.

United must activate the release clause of £ 62.5 million of the Brazilian, but hope to have the conditions by next month.

Amorim has made no secret of his admiration for Cunha and praises his versatility and goals in output.

The United Manager was also seen in conversation with Cunha after United and Wolves met each other in Molineux and again in the tunnel in Old Trafford on Sunday.

Due to PSR, finances are a premium for Amorim, and further recruitment plans will depend on the sale and whether they can be eligible for Europe.
