Further reports confirm Barcelona’s top transfer target this summer

Barcelona continues to work without total certainty about what they will have to spend this summer, but because their planning process is starting seriously before the summer, there is little doubt about their priority. After arguing for his signing last summer, director of Football Deco has his heart again at Liverpool -wing player Luis Diaz.

The Colombian winger is said to have a contract offer on the table, say Sport (via Semper Barca), but with two more years about his deal in Anfield, his future is considering. Despite reports that the Blaugrana had demolished their interest, it was claimed on Sunday that Diaz was again the top of Deco's wish list. Diaz is also enthusiastic about moving to Barcelona.

These reports are supported by various points of sale, and MD explains that Liverpool has spoken Olympique Lyon -wing player Malick Fofana during a possible movement if they have to replace Diaz. El Chiringuito also says that the chance for Nico Williams to become a member of the club has passed and Diaz is willing to wait for a move to Barcelona.

Diaz still has to arrive in the Catalan capital, but the move is already being questioned, with former scout Bojan Krkic SNR. (Father of Deco's current assistant, Bojan Krkic Jnr.) Recently pointed out that Diaz tends to be inconsistent. However, Deco believes that Barcelona needs another attacker who can play both through the middle and on the left. He wants a player who can also beat their defender one on one.

His price tag would be around € 85 million, Sport say. The signing of Diaz has the green light of Flick, who would like to balance his attack somewhat. Raphinha tends to move more centrally, and Diaz can offer a player who extends the defense on the left, with many of the game by Lamine Yamal, something that Flick wants to be more, even next season.
