Georges St-Pierre praises ‘complete package’ Belal Muhammad when breaking down UFC 315 main event

A really special run is needed for everyone to compete with what 'Rush' has achieved at 170 pounds.

While Georges St-Pierre achieved success when he returned to the UFC and won the title of the middleweight, it is his regime about the Welterweight Division that saw him recognition as one of the greats of all time.

The Canadian icon did it all after he won the belt after St-Pierre was shockingly defeated by Matt Serra before he cleared the division by seeing all challengers.

More than a decade of the long -ruling title holder that produces some of the most iconic nights in the history of sport in the Bell Center in Montreal, the Welterweight title will come back to the same location within a few weeks.

Belal Muhammad will defend the championship against Jack della Maddalena in the main event of UFC 315, where the man who associates the most fans will be present with the belt.

Georges St-Pierre credits the well-completed game of Belal Muhammad when viewing UFC 315

In an exclusive interview with Bloody Elbow, Georges St-Pierre confirmed that he will be in the building for UFC 315 to get his Tristar teammate and colleague Canadian, Aiemann Zahabi, in the corner.

The second of two title fights on 10 May sees Belal Muhammad for the first time defending the Welterweight belt since he has dethroned Leon Edwards in their Rematch on UFC 304 last July.

'Remember the name' has been overlooked for most of his career, but with every victory he has become more difficult to deny while he continues to prove the people.

After the top candidate Shavkat Rakhmonov could not fight on this date, Jack della Maddalena from Australia received the call after his seven-fighter profit reak in the Octagon.

12 of the 17 Pro victories of Della Maddalena came through knockout, where the 28-year-old is best known for its sharp boxing skills.

Although many, including ST-Pierre, expect the challenger to have the advantage, the former Welteregege champion does not believe that this is a simple striker versus Grappler match that is impressed by Mohammed in his recent fights.

“Belal is the complete package,” St-Pierre told Bloody Elbow. “He is good everywhere and he has a very uncomfortable style that throws away many people, especially getting up in the striking department. Jack, on the other hand, he is in a tear. He has a good momentum, he is on a winning series and it will be an interesting fight.

“On the one hand, Jack, I think, could have the benefits in the striking department, but it is not just a kickboxing match, it is mixed martial arts and that is when I believe that Belal Muhammad uses it. I think he has more tools to win, but that doesn't mean he will win.”

Georges St-Pierre says that to beat Belal Muhammad, you have to crack the code

During his reign as a Welterweight champion, Georges St-Pierre proved one of the most well-rounded hunters we have ever seen in the Octagon.

His style enabled him to adapt to every challenge that was thrown at him if he was horns locking with a dangerous striker or an accomplished grappler.

The question on the way to UFC 315 is whether Jack della Maddalena will be able to pull the upset to beat Belal Muhammad, despite what St-Pierre said he had more tools to win.

'Rush' said that the key to defeating a well -completed champion, or whatever, in that respect, is to crack the code.

We will discover on 10 May whether Della Maddalena is the right man to solve the puzzle that brings Mohammed to the table.

“It is always about cracking the code and he is the champion for a reason. Nobody has cracked the code so far and the style of Belal is very aggressive. He puts a constant forward pressure and lets boys fight their heels. He is very good at changing levels and changing the momentum of the fight and that is his most important trump.
