Manchester United has confirmed that one of their highly appreciated coaches will leave the club at the end of the season.
Mail Sport exclusively revealed last month that a new round of dismissal is on our own in Old Trafford, with Sir Jim Ratcliffe considerably reducing the second time since his partial takeover last February.
The longest serving employee of United, football manager Marie Marron, is expected to leave this summer after 46 years at the club, and now a coach has made the decision to continue.
The Under-18 manager of the Red Devils, Adam Lawrence, will be on their way to the output door looking for a new challenge.
In 2021, Lawrence initially joined United as a coach under the age of 16 before he was promoted to the under-18s two years later.
He helped developing various young talents in the United Academy, including Teenage Full Back Harry Amass, and won three trophies with the team last season.
Thinking about his time at United, Lawrence told the club's website: 'It was a privilege to work for Manchester United. It has been a very special few years with this group; I was lucky to work with many of the under-18s of this season up to and including the level of under 16 years of age and witness their growth and both people and players.
'During the past two years, all staff in the professional development phase can be very proud of the work we have done to support the players. The style of playing, the focus on individual development and the culture of the academy that we have supported; It was a real privilege to play my role in helping the group.
“I am now ready for the next challenge, but I will always cherish the memories made in this great club and not be able to wait to see what the future has in store for the players with whom I have enjoyed working with.”
The exit of Lawrence comes at a time when Ratcliffe wants to reduce the number of heads at United by 200.
Eight months ago, Ratcliffe let 250 employees go and will now take more drastic action as part of cost -saving measures at United.
Mail Sport revealed Tuesday that the players of United are furious with the Penny-Pinching of the club for next week's Europa League final when it comes to tickets, flights and hotels.
Reportedly, Ruben Amorim has indeed paid for 30 of his back room staff and their families to attend the final from his own pocket after United refused to transfer free tickets.
United fans are expected to be considerably in the minority by Tottenham fans in Bilbao for the next Wednesday game, because both teams want to save their season.
United and Spurs are currently 16th and 17th in the Premier League respectively, but the winners of the final deserve a place in next season's Champions League.
