‘I told the UFC my plans’… Jon Jones provides major update on Tom Aspinall unification fight

Jon Jones has shared some rare comments about his potential fight with Tom Aspinall.

The UFC Heavyweight Champion has not fought anymore since he eliminated Stipe Miocic to defend his title on UFC 309 in November.

Since then, Jon Jones has been locked up in conversations for a unification fight with interim champion Tom Aspinall.

UFC CEO Dana White has guaranteed that they will clash in 2025, but fans are frustrated by what they consider as a hesitation of the greatest hunter in the MMA history.

Jon Jones offers an important update

Jones is currently in Thailand, where he films a reality TV program and hangs around with Viral Star Hasbulla.

On Monday he tweeted about good food and losing weight during his time in Southeast Asia.

A fan replied: “Enjoy your last days as a champion before I was stripped, I see eh Jon?”

Jones struck: “Strip? Lol, do I come across as the type of person who cares about things like that?”

Another UFC fan claimed that Jones is worried about the belt, otherwise he would have left it.

“Yall Barkin the wrong tree,” Jones kept full. “I told the UFC my plans long ago. I have no idea why they haven't shared them with you yet.”

Asked to outline his plan, Jones ignored the question about the Aspinall fight and gave a vague answer.

“To continue with this great brand I made,” he said.

Dana White's Latest Update

Tom Aspinall played Curtis Blaydes in 60 seconds to defend his interim rim on UFC 304 last July.

Since then he has been waiting on the sidelines for the chance to prove that he is MMA's best heavyweight.

It is understandable that Aspinall recently said that he had 'enough' to wait for Jones, who made fans jokes, is doing everything except against the harsh Englishman.

Dana White recently moved to close the concern about Jones's out -of -school activities last week.

“He is fighting. He will fight,” the UFC boss told street journalist Adam Glyn on Friday.

“Yes. Absolutely,” he added when he was asked if Jones returned in 2025.
