‘It’s destiny’ … Valentina Shevchenko called out by neighboring champion after UFC 315

After 12-right title fights, a super fight may be in store for Valentina Shevchenko.

The air champion of the UFC Ladies started to claim her second title without a towbar, so Manon Fiorot was almost completed on the way to a closely affected unanimous decision victory in the UFC 315 Co-Main event.

The Fiorot of France was a brand new face for Valentina Shevchenko, who had to fight former champion Alexa Grasso three times in a row before she got her belt back on UFC 306 in September.

After her eighth successful title defense at 125LBS, Shevchenko hit a call-out from the division below: Strawweight champion Zhang Weili.

Zhang Weili says 'it's the fate' to challenge Valentina Shevchenko

On #1, Shevchenko is the only woman ranked higher than Zhang in the pound-for-pound ranks.

In a super fight that has been mentioned for a long time, Zhang would not mind fighting Shevchenko to decide who the real pound-for-pound queen is.

“Congratulations to the champion,” Zhang wrote in an Instagram remark.

“Everything is perfectly prepared, it's fate,” Zhang referred to a flying weight for a second title.

While in separate divisions, 'Magnum' and 'Bullet' have been a bit of a collision course for a while, because both ladies have defended their titles several times at 115 pounds and 125 pounds, so that their divisions are cleaned.

However, there are still contenders waiting for the return of the champions.

Valentina Shevchenko says that she can let 'only fans' decide her next opponent

Natalia Silva confirmed herself as the #1 candidate of the flight weight division with a dominant victory over Alexa Grasso, the only hunter who has defeated Shevchenko in the weight class.

Silva is unbeaten in the UFC on 6-0, a clear, young competition at the age of 28 with an earlier victory over former champion Jessica Andrade.

In a response to the call-out of Zhang Weili, Shevchenko considered her next opponent between the champion and new #1-mededener Silva to decide on the subscription-based social media platform 'Only fans'.

“Maybe fans can play a role in that,” said Shevchenko at the UFC 315 Post-Fight Press Conference.

“If they can join my single fan page and drop some messages about who they want to see me fight …

“We will compare who the next one is,” Shevchenko added.

Well, that's a way to promote your only fans …
