Leeds to ban fans who sing anti-Palestine song in support of Israeli Solomon

Leeds United has warned that they will ban fans who sing an anti-Palestinian song about their Israeli winger Manor Solomon.

In December the club condemned the singing about Solomon 'Hate Palestine'.

However, Leeds has since received a large number of complaints from fans about its continuous use.

They have now promised to increase CCTV surveillance and the presence of steward in the south position, as well as threatening supporters by forbidding orders.

In a highly formulated statement prior to Monday's home collision with Sunderland, the club said: 'Leeds United again condemns the football singing with an anti-Palestinian text aimed at Manor Solomon.

'Hate crime and discriminatory language or singing are not acceptable and the club has a zero tolerance policy compared to all types of discrimination for abuse.

“Action will be taken against every person who participates in the singing, including the issue of a club ban.”
