Barcelona Raphinha has sensational admitted that he would have accepted a transfer movement from 2024 to the Saudi Pro League.
Raphinha was strongly connected to a relocation of Catalonia last summer in the early weeks of the term of office of Hansi Flick.
The former boss of Bayern Munich, however, was determined to keep him in the club and called on the property to block all offers from the East.
The decision has proved to be an excellent call from all parties with Raphinha that leads the potential Treble -Lading of Barcelona in addition to a daring scream for the Ballon d'Or from 2025.
15 La Liga goals and nine assists attracts the importance, but even more impressive, he is currently the top scorer in the UEFA Champions League with 12 goals and seven assists.
His place in Barcelona is now safe, with a contract up to 2027, and extensions are planned for this summer.
However, things could have turned out to be very different for the former Leeds United wing player, and he claims that an offer of the SPL would have been too good to reject in different circumstances.
“Yesterday I was informed of the range from Saudi Aarabia and to be honest I was very surprised because the figures involved were very high,” he told an interview with TNT Sports Brazil.
“To be honest, if they had made me this offer last year, I think I would have gone. At that time I was a bit destroyed, and this offer would have completely changed my life, and for my wife and family.
“It was a quantity that our lives could have changed completely.
Raphinha added that his call to stay in Barcelona was clearly the right one and he has faith in the direction of the season.
“I thought I still had a lot to contribute to this in Europe, this club and a great opportunity to keep representing the national team. That is what I put into the money in the money and to open my mind more for my dreams.”
