Phallon Tullis-Joyce says that Manchester United “wants to continue to write history” after signing a new three-year-old deal with the club.
Tullis-Joyce initially came to United in September 2023 and put Pen on paper about a new contract that will hold her there until June 2028.
She only made four performances in her first season, all in the Women's League Cup. After the departure of Mary Earps at the end of last season, however, she became the first-choice goalkeeper of United and excelled this season.
She has held a competition-high 13 clean sheets and admitted only nine goals in the WSL, the least in the competition.
Tullis-Joyce has confronted 59 shots on goal and, according to the expected goals of Opta on Target (XGOT), she has prevented 7.2 goals.
The American international, who earned her first international limit last month, also made the joint punches (13, level with Kinga Szemik) and the second most approvals (27) in the WSL.
“I am very grateful that I have this opportunity to fulfill the exciting journey that we are on,” Tullis-Joyce said the media channels of the club.
“We all have ever -growing dreams of what we can achieve together.
“We want to keep writing history, and I am so proud to keep wearing the badge in Manchester United.”
United is third in the WSL while having Champions League qualification qualification and are also for the second consecutive year until the FA Cup final, where Chelsea stands in the way of their title defense.
