When Roman Dolidze and Marvin Vettori met for the first time in 2023, the two fought against an extremely heavy three rounds, with the result a relatively controversial.
Roman Dolidze was on an impressive four combat switch when he and Marvin Vettori met for the first time on UFC 286, while 'The Italian Dream' came in behind the back of a number one competition loss for Robert Whittaker.
Since then, Dolidze has been fighting three times and his last two won against Kevin Holland and Anthony Smith, while Vettori has been inactive for two years after a loss for Jared Cannonier.

Roman Dolidze reveals what he has learned the most from First Vettori Fight
Prior to their rematch on UFC Vegas 104 this Saturday, 'The Caucasian' revealed to Bloody Elbow, which he learned most of the Italian in their three round war.
“Marvin is a very sustainable hunter, he is tough,” said Dolidze Bloody Elbow in an exclusive interview.
“I hope he will be in the best form for our fight, but I think I am now more prepared because I know exactly what he will do and how he moves and how he reacts, but the most important thing I can point out is that he is a very sustainable man, it is hard to finish him,” he went on.
The 31-year-old is one of the few UFC veterans who can still have the record of having a stop loss, even though he has fought such as Israel Adesanya, Paulo Costa and the aforementioned Whittaker.
“Deep inside, I still want to be the first to stop him, I will do everything for that,” said the 36-year-old.

The middleweight division is in a bit of a transition period, where the top five of the division is going to change somewhat.
The current middleweight champion, Dricus du Plessis, seems to defend his 185 pound title against Khamzat Chimaev then and Dolidze believes that Chimaev could be 'in problems'.
Someone who may feel a shame to miss the title shot is Nassourdine Imavov. Imavov scored a huge ko -victory on Adesanya previous time -out and immediately put itself in the title.
Because Imavov probably has to wait in line at the peak of Du Plessis vs Chimaev, Dolidze believes that a rematch with Imavov could follow afterwards, if he can successfully revenge his loss with Vettori this Saturday.
