Tardelli said to La Stampa: “Looking at Inter Play Against Bayern in the quarterfinals of the Champions League reminded me of an unforgettable period that is very dear to me: the World Cup 1982, in which we at a certain moment, after beating Brazil, to feel our unbeatable and ready for any kind, against everyone.
“We were different, changed to our faces, in our eyes, in our gaze, with the certainty to always have a teammate in the area to get ready.
“That is exactly what I felt on those mythical moments and what I see now in the eyes and spirit of the inter boys.
“Only arrogance and suspicion can change the course of history, but I don't see these two attitudes in the Simone Inzaghi team.”
