Paddy Pimblett took the biggest victory of his career so far on Saturday night at UFC 314 and defeated former title -Utendager Michael Chandler.
Not only won 'The Baddy', but he completely dominated Michael Chandler to finish him with ground-and-pound in round three of their five-round co-main event.
And with his victory, Paddy Pimblett is now firmly in the title interview at Lightweight, possibly received a boost from Islam Makhachev, who said he would fight the Brit if he reached the top 10.
'The Baddy' is now in the top eight of the lightweight division after the UFC Rankings update on Monday, making it ready for a huge next outing.

Dustin Poirier responds to Pimblett's victory over Chandler over UFC 314
The 155 pound division is in a bit of a transition period to the top, with older contenders who still occupy places in the top five.
One of them is former interim champion Dustin Poirier, who of course shared the cage with Michael Chandler.
'The Diamond' shared his thoughts about Pimblett's performance and admitted that he can no longer count the 30-year-old, given his rise on the ranks.
“Guy, he is legitimate. How can I deny him more? Chandler is a tough guy. I didn't think Chandler looked great. I thought he had a good first round, getting Paddy down and wrist him rode the fence, he looked flat,” Poirier told Mmajunkie.
“He looked heavy on his feet, he looked exhausted … Maybe it's his time now, but only he knows that. I definitely thought that Chandler didn't look great, but did not remove Paddy's performance.
“Paddy went out and dropped the first round, came back confidently, Chandler hit with big shots, I mean, got him down, who would have had that on their bingo card? Paddy is the real deal … You really have to take it … His next fight must be a very big one,” Poirier continued.
Pimblett shouted various lightweight contenders for his next fight, with his first choice as a title Eliminator -fight against Charles Oliveira, which is apparently useful.
Nevertheless, Poirier has suggested that Pimblett's next fight against number six is arranged, lightweight, then hooker.
“For me as a fan, put him in with Dan hooker. That would be an incredible fight. The structure would be nice. Then would stand and trade with him, then a good removal, good on the ground, is the fight, I think,” Poirier continued.
Dustin Poirier teases his own UFC -COMEBACK
'The Diamond' did not add himself to the conversation as potential opponents for the Brit, because he revealed that he has already booked his next fight and that it will soon be announced.
Poirier's next fight is labeled as his pension fight after the former title -seconder said he has one more fight in him.
“Behind the scenes I have things, so I can't entertain (a fight against paddy) … in the next, I think, two weeks, you know,” Poirier revealed.
Rumors have constantly sought that Poirier's pension fight against Max Holloway will come as a BMF title fight and a rematch of their interim title Fight 2019.
