Valero: Napoli striker Lukaku reborn with Conte

Valero says reuniting with former Inter coach Antonio Conte at Napoli has been key to Lukaku's rejuvenation.

“Certainly, the path of recent years must have had some impact on him, even psychologically,” Valero told Cronache di Spogliatoio.

“In my opinion this has changed him a little bit, he has definitely matured.

“But when he is with Conte, he seems reborn, because he understands Conte's playing style very well, which is focused on two attackers. And when you have a striker like him, who really makes a difference in Italy, then I think that is very important.”
