When Max Holloway Joe Rogan told how he used to learn how to strike in MMA, the UFC commentator could not fully believe it.
In July Max Holloway returns to the Octagon when he accepts Dustin Poirier in a trilogy fight on UFC 318, in what Poirier's pension fight is.
'Blessed' Holloway will defend his BMF title after he had won against Justin Gaethje on UFC 300 last April by beating Gaethje in the last second, which resulted in one of the most viral moments in the UFC history.
In anticipation of their trilogy fight in Louisiana, Poirier has asked for a change of rule and claims that BMF title fights must take pride rules.

Max Holloway surprised Joe Rogan when he told him how he learned MMA
The Hawaiian has been a permanent match in the UFC since 2012 when he made his debut against Poirier, who was almost a broken arm when 'The Diamond' submitted him in the first round.
Despite the early loss in his career, it became clear that the 19-year-old would probably be a big star in the sport, with impressive skills and even better heart.
However, Holloway did not start in an orthodox way with his MMA journey and he left UFC icon Joe Rogan stunned when he told him how he taught MMA who stood out when he first started.
“What?” Rogan answered when he was shocked.
“You learned how to beat video games? I thought:” Oh, he went to a traditional karate school, and then he started studying Muay Thai when he was 10, no, “Rogan continued.
Holloway competed various fights in the early phase of his UFC career without a striking coach and learned things from the original UFC game.
Dustin Poirier's last training camp once starts
Since this matchup was announced, drool fans at the thought of it, given that their first fight came at the start of both UFC career, and their Rematch was in the short term in 2019.
The lightweight division will apparently not feel the same without the name of Poirier opposite the top, and his wife has responded to this his last training camp ever.
“And the journey starts! Still doesn't really feel that you are on your way to your last training camp. We love you so much, goodbye,” she posted on her Instagram.
