Leny Yoro has placed a cryptic message on social media after being criticized by Thierry Henry and Jamie Carragher after the 4-1 defeat of Manchester United by Newcastle on Sunday.
Yoro, 19, was the subject of a fierce reprimand by Henry when the former Arsenal star analyzed the last gloomy show of United on Monday evening football.
Henry claimed that the young defender had done something that he “had never seen before” after Harvey Barnes scored his second goal in the polding victory of Newcastle.
Images showed that Yoro looked at the assistant referee in the immediate aftermath of Barnes' purpose, of which Henry believed he demonstrated how Man United missed the 'desire' of their opposition.
The former Gunners-star was later attacked on social media by fans who accused him of 'uncomfortable and borderline shameful' criticism of his fellow fransman, and 'cheap, in the toilet punditry', while Carragher removed a post where he had responded to Sky Sports' Clip of the analysis with four floating emoji.
Yoro seemed to respond to the experts on Instagram on Tuesday evening when he placed a verse from the Bible, along with a photo of him on his hosts in St James' Park.
Yoro quoted Philippians 4: 6, wrote: “Don't worry about anything, but in all your prayers God ask for what you need, always ask him with a grateful heart.”
Henry had said: 'Leny Yoro is not going back to try to defend. The desire was on the Newcastle side. They are just not good enough.
“That (goal of Barnes) should never happen. Pause on Yoro. I don't know why … I don't know what he is looking at? Are you looking at the linesman and try to see if he will save you, I don't know?
“I don't know if he thought there was an offside. We all know that it is a goal. What are you looking at? I don't really know. I've never seen that before. '
Carragher also weighed the sad performance of Man United, where the Ruben Amorim side was compared with 'Underv-Five Young Kids' instead of top football players.
'How bad are Manchester United? They miss everything, Manchester United, “he said.
'Harvey Barnes' First Touch, you have two defenders before he comes to the goal and two defenders who chase him.
'If I tell you now that he is picking up the ball and he is going to score here and not be challenged, you can't think that that is possible at any level of football, if it was among the five young children or Premier League. That is not acceptable to start in that position (where Barnes started) and end up there (in the box) without a challenge.
“We no longer have things to say about them.”
Yoro came to United last summer in a £ 52 million deal from Real Madrid. The French star is impressed by Amorim and the supporters of the club after an injury hit the start of his career at Old Trafford, making 25 performances, including 17 in the Premier League.
He scored his first goal for United in the 2-2 draw with Lyon in the first stage of their Europa League quarter final in France last week, and is expected to perform in Old Trafford on Thursday.
