Manchester United deserves the criticism that makes its way through former Captain Roy Keane, so Ruben sees Amorim.
United not only has the chance to save silverware, but also the qualification of the Champions League, from a hugely overwhelming season, after they have beat Athletic Bilbao 7-1 over two legs in the semi-final of the Europa League.
They will compete against Tottenham, who has had a similar disappointing Premier League campaign, in the final on 21 May.
United, however, is without a victory in six top matches, and Keane burned their form of competition as “shameful”.
Prior to the 17th place West Ham, which are only two points behind the Red Devils.
“We try to do our best, but I agree that we can do better,” said Amorim, as reported by ESPN.
“I have nothing to say about the criticism, because we earn it. If we can't accept everything in this kind of season, I think we're in the wrong things.
“I fully acknowledge that and I agree with all the critics.
“We have to be smart and we have to take a risk. We have to take the risk of getting a lot of criticism from everyone, because the standards of Roy Keane and all these guys are really high. But I have to make a choice.”

With little but proud to play for in the competition, in which United will end in the lower half, Amorim said he will look to get the balance between protecting his most important players and ensuring that they have enough minutes in the structure of the Europa League final.
He added: “Sometimes it is better to play. What I will protect are the players who can get an injury. We also want to be competitive in the Premier League. Bruno [Fernandes] Does not have the problem of injury, but Harry has that. So we will have to manage that, but they have to play. And it is better to play than to stay outside.
“We will not have much training. They will fight for the place in the final in these games. I think we had some mistakes against Brentford.
“I felt that some of our players thought of this game [against Athletic Club].
“So we have to manage that. But we also have to acknowledge that we are Manchester United. We have to win games, also in the Premier League.
“We have to use every game to improve, even to prepare for the final, but especially to prepare for the future.”
The 16 Premier League of United this season has ended their most in a competition campaign since 13th place in 1989-90 (also 16), while she last lost more times in a competition season in 1973-74 (20), who suffer that campaign.
Players to watch
Manchester United – Amad Diallo
Diallo has returned from an injury in a timely boost for United and was fantastic from the bank against Bilbao, even as a colleague -replacing Mason Mount achieved the headlines with two goals.
Among players with at least 1,000 minutes in the Premier League this season, on average only nine players on average more non-Penalty goals and assists per 90 than Diallo (0.71 per 90), while he first stands for possession in the last third part (1.5 per 90).
West Ham – Jarrod Bowen
Only Jacob Murphy and Harvey Barnes (both six) have been directly involved in more Premier League goals since the beginning of April than Bowen (five-three goals, two assists), while in 2024-25 only Mohamed Salah (57%) and Alexander Isak (44%) were involved in a higher/4 of their%of them).
Match forecast: Manchester United Win
United is unbeaten in their last 16 Premier League matches against West Ham (W13 D3) and win each of their last four without giving up.
West Ham has won three of their last four Premier League matches against Man Utd (L1), as much as in their previous 28 in advance (D6 L19). They want to complete their first competition doubles over the Red Devils since 2006-07.
And United is without a victory in their last six Premier League matches (D2 L4); Only between September and November 1992 (D5 L2) did they withstand a longer Winless Run in the history of the competition.
Only Leicester City (seven), Ipswich Town (six) and Southampton (five) have picked up fewer Premier League points than West Ham since the first game of Graham Potter in January (14).
The Hammers are indeed Winless in their last eight competition matches (D4 L4), the latter passed a longer run in the competition in May 2011 (nine games).
