Jamie Carragher made a brutal graves at Arsenal Set Peck Coach Nicolas Jover after he had revealed that the Gunners have proved to be feudable from dead ball situations this season.
In the 2024-2025 campaign, Jover has earned widespread campaign for Arsenal's remarkable success with set pieces.
Arsenal scored their 16th set-piece goal of the season in the Premier League on Wednesday evening, while Jakub Kiwior brought the hosts ahead with a third minute of a free kick at the Emirates.
However, the Gunners were fed back when Ebereechi Eze of Crystal Palace remained unarkly from a corner on the edge of the box, where the midfielder produced an excellent volley to deliver the score.
Arsenal was eventually held a point after a 2-2 draw with an excellent late level of Jean-Philippe Mateta who canceled the goal of Leandro Trossard just before half-time.
After the match, Carragher emphasized that Arsenal admitted the second highest percentage of goals from the corners in the top flight this season, with only Man United Poreuzer.
Carragher chose to have a brutal excavation at Arsenal's set piece Mastermind Jover, whose success was honored earlier this season with a mural by supporters.
'In terms of percentage, only Man United are worse this season than Arsenal-SET set. So if we make a lot about the set-piece coach … he is absolutely from this world in terms of progress, but they have a big problem defensive.
'Do we have to cut his wages in two? Do they need a defensive set-piece coach?
'It was one of the stories of the season and rightly so. It's incredible. You feel that they are going to score a goal of a set piece in every match or get very close to scoring.
'Of course he had a huge impact, but it is funny that they themselves have enormous problems.
Carragher is not the first Sky Sports Pundit that Jover emphasized this season, whereby Gary Neville has previously labeled him the 'most annoying guy in football' because of his animated presence on the touchline during set pieces.
His comment came during the overlapping WATCHALONG of Arsenal's 2-0 win over Manchester United in December when both goals from the Gunners came from corners.
Carragher, however, defended Jover at the time and claimed that he earned every penny of his salary with his set piece of expertise.
Speaking of jover, Carragher said to Neville: 'I'll tell you what, give him what he wants.
'If you were that set piece coach for Arsenal, you could write your own contract, right? You couldn't lose him.
“You know, if he said,” I want 25 grand a week, “you should give it to him, right?”
After he had thrown the lead twice on Wednesday, Arsenal has now removed 18 points from winning positions this season.
They are 12 points behind leaders Liverpool, who only need a draw against Tottenham on Sunday to seal their 20th league title.
