Colby Covington’s longtime rival praises Paddy Pimblett for how he handled viral UFC 314 altercation

Paddy Pimblett attracted rave reviews of one of the enemies of Colby Covington after their UFC 314-Run-in.

UFC Lichtweight Competier Paddy Pimblett won the biggest victory of his career at UFC 314 in Miami last Saturday. He completed Michael Chandler within three rounds and left the colleague -Fan's favorite with battered and bleeding in the Octagon while he continued his climb to the ranking.

The stock of Pimblett has never been higher in his UFC career after beating Chandler. He called a whole series of top candidates after his UFC 314 victory, including former title holders Justin Gaethje and Charles Oliveira.

While Pimblett cherished himself in the glory of his victory, he came face to face with Colby Covington, who had exchanged with him for weeks.

Ian Machado Garry responds to the new feud from Colby Covington with Paddy Pimblett

The tensions that have been cooked between Pimblett and Covington Backstage on UFC 314. In a clip you can view below, security personnel separated Pimblett and Covington before a physical fight could play.

One of the old enemies of Covington believes that Pimblett has treated the verbal attack of the former Challenger title perfectly.

During a recent performance at the Show of Ariel Helwani, Ian Machado Garry responded to the argument of Covington/Pimblett.

“First,, [Colby] Just talk from his A – and Paddy said it perfectly during the press conference. Mr Irrelevant, who is only trying to stay relevant, “said Garry about Pimblett.

“The man has been running for so long, he doesn't want to fight, he is not a hunter in heart and soul. He will do everything he could possibly choose to choose the man with the greatest potential or the biggest star, follows him to try to get some influence.

“I think Paddy dealt with it as a professional, and I think Paddy thinks is great, came out in that fight, with the greatest version of his life,” Garry continued. “Everything done well, and I think someone would come to you and shout at you and trying to break down from that moment on, it's really low. And I think Paddy was very, very good with it.”

Garry and Covington were briefly connected last year with a potential collision prior to the UFC 303, but the fight did not flourish. Garry defeated Michael 'Venom' page on UFC 303, while Covington lost to Joaquin Buckley in his most recent fight in UFC Tampa in December.

Garry has since converted the page to possibly opposite Covington in the Octagon. He will go to Carlos Prates in UFC Kansas City later this month, while he is avenged against Shavkat Rakhmonov on UFC 310 from his loss of the first career.

Ian Machado Garry Reignites Colby Covington Beef for UFC Kansas City Return

Pimblett and Covington crossed last month during a Power Slap event, but the two parties were quietly towards each other while they were present. That has changed since then, because Covington Waste Packed and 'Fraud' accusations versus Pimblett.

Pimblett teased welterweight matchups last year with Conor McGregor and Covington, but neither of them flourished. McGregor recently lost $ 500,000 thanks to Pimblett's victory over UFC 314.

While the ship may be on Garry vs. Covington has sailed, their feud remains as heated as always. As far as Pimblett is concerned, feud with Covington has just begun.
