Cristiano Ronaldo’s sister was forced to close down CR7 clothes shop and shared sad pictures after difficult decision

The business empire of Cristiano Ronaldo has seen him collect a capacity of £ 600 million – but not every company has been a success.

The money earning tentacles from CR7 have been expanded with football to fashion, hotels, real estate, hair clinics and restaurants.

But not every idea has generated more cash to deal with the £ 173 million that he is currently in Al-Nassr.

One of Ronaldo's failed business movements were his fashion stores that opened in his home country of Portugal.

The CR7 stores sold everything, from football boots and shirts to fitness equipment and signed memorabilia.

His store was run by his older sister Elma on his home island of Funchal until it was closed in 2022.

Switching in Lisbon, the Algarve and Madeira are all closed a few years earlier.

Reports at that time said many fans would come in to browse, but it was not in sale.

Elma, who hinted that the decision to lift the Funchal Shop was on her busy schedule, went to social media to post Snaps of the empty boards.

She said: “Large projects in progress, a lot of time, energy and family love invested.

“Because there is not enough time for everything and life consists of phases, I decided to close a chapter of my life after 15 years.

“It was not an easy decision because it was here that my area started with many memories and moments that will be marked forever on a page that I will keep in my heart.

“The reference point for many people, a point thousands of people wanted to pass by when they came to visit our beautiful island of Madeira.

“With all my strength I will send you a huge thank you.”

The only CR7 store is now in his museum in Funchal.

Elma helps her brother's things and one of his scents is named after her.
