Paddy Pimblett visited Michael Chandler after the biggest victory of his career.

A relatively new name in the UFC Lightweight Rankings, Paddy Pimblett shot into the world with a dominant victory over Michael Chandler in the UFC 314 Co-Main event.

After the opening round, the fight was all Pimblett's with 'The Baddy' who locked Chandler with a brutal knee and soil and pound for a TKO on the third round. A straight-up mayor of the former Bellator champion.

Chandler, 38, has heard many in the MMA community his performance and call for his retirement – none of all came from Pimblett.

We did not see Ton Chandler after his TKO loss against Pimblett, rushed out of the octagon and covered with towels before Bruce Buffer read the official decision.

In the aftermath of UFC 314, Pimblett went to the dressing room of Chandler, thank him personally for the chance. Chandler was arranged #7 when he accepted the rather risky fight with Pimblett, which was outside the top 10.

“Thank you very much boy for sharing that octagon with me,” Pimblett told Chandler in a video posted on his YouTube channel.

Job and bruised, Chandler gave Pimblett a hug: “Congratulations, man.”

Pimblett shook his hand with Chandler's corner and the young son of his opponent

“I hope you're good, little man,” said Pimblett.

“Again, Mike thanks for getting up and sharing that octagon with me. I appreciate it,” Pimblett added.

What is the next step for Paddy Pimblett?

A top candidate and triple Bellator champion on his resume, the sky is the limit for Paddy Pimblett on UFC 314.

In his interview after the fight, Pimblett proclaimed three names: Arman Tsarukyan, Charles Oliveira and Justin Gaethje-Alle quality names that Pimblett could be confronted with after beating the brakes of Chandler.

Ranked #8 in the world, coach of UFC Lichtweight Champion Islam Makhachevier Mendez says that a title shot would not be excluded by Pimblett.

“Paddy is ready to face everyone,” said Mendez on the Javier & Mo show.

“What he has already done – his references, his winning record in the UFC and his hype …

“If they give him the next title shot, he deserves it,” said Mendez about Pimblett.

Paddy Pimblett is currently 7-0 in the UFC with victories over Michael Chandler, King Green and Tony Ferguson.
