
Dana White opted for meeting the media after UFC 315, which means that the main event for the International Vechtweek remains a mystery.
Fans can of course connect the points, given the enormous amount of instructions that have fallen in recent days around Ilia Topuria, Islam Makhachev and Charles Oliveira. However, with white no-showing the UFC 315 press conference last night, official plans are still in the air.
Executive David Shaw appeared to speak on behalf of the promotion after the event. However, he is not freedom to announce large events and did not seem to be sure what exactly happened during next month's showcase in Las Vegas.

While he was present for Fight Night and spoke with the press all week, Dana White chose not to appear to speak with the press after UFC 315. Instead, he sent senior vice president, international and content David Shaw to represent the company.

For a long time it is expected that if Jack della Maddalena Belal Muhammad would beat to win the belt, that lightweight champion Islam Makhachev would come to come a second belt. This would mean that former champion featherweight Ilia Topuria opposite Charles Oliveira on UFC 317 stands for an interim title.
Makhachev would not have come to fight Mohammed, with whom he is a good friend and training partner. But he seems to be the switch to welterweight and tells della Maddalena that he is coming for his belt.
David Shaw opts for making UFC 317 International Fight Week -announcement
David Shaw tackled the Baying Press Pack in Montreal with White. He was inevitably asked about the potential of an international announcement of the Vechtweek and kept his cards close to his chest.
He quoted the infamous line of the UFC boss about waiting for matchmaking meetings while he generally avoided the question. “Not me,” he answered when he was asked by MMA Junkie's Mike Bohn if he had an announcement in his pocket for the International Vechtweek.
“I can give you the standard 'You have to wait until Tuesday', but listen to the press conference on Thursday.
