The Midlands side had down within 27 minutes and bored when Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes gave them a nightmare -and a 5-1 aggregated mountain for climbing.
But goals from Youri Tielemans, John McGinn and Ezri Konsa brought a pulsating Villa park within a centimeter of a legendary comeback – with 33 minutes to play.
