Father of Liverpool -midfielder Alexis Mac Allister has tried speculation in Coole who links his son to Real Madrid this summer. Los Blancos is said to be on the market for a midfielder and the Argentina International is apparently on their radar.
After recently noticing that 'Time Will Tell' during an interview about Mac Allister's Future, Colo Mac Allister tried to reclaim his comments about the issue.
“There is nothing to comment. Alexis is very happy in Liverpool and hopes to be crowned Prime Minister League champion and then enjoy the break he did not have last year,” he said Winwin, as quoted by Marca.
He continued and perhaps hinted that he had received a push in a certain direction.
“It is important to appreciate and respect the institution for which he plays, so every comment from our side would be unnecessary. He has a contract until 2028. He is happy in the club; let's hope he will stay there.”
It is worth noting that perhaps the original furore about his comments were exaggerated, in which Mac Allister Senior explained that he did not feel that he would leave Anfield.
'For now I don't think he will leave Liverpool. Time will tell. Alexis is very happy where he is. He lives in Manchester, and on the same block as he is Robertson Gomez, and four blocks is Lica (Lisandro) Martinez. Alexis speaks English well, well, “explained to Picardo TV.
Marca was confirmed that Real Madrid is interested in Mac Allister, but as one of the best midfielders there is, this is not entirely unexpected. The 26-year-old has three years in his deal and remains an important part of the plans of Arne Slot, which is why there is little motive for Liverpool to consider a sale. Los Blancos does not have it as part of their policy to spend great on players who are older than 21 years.
