Inter 2-2 Bayern (Agg 4-3): Pavard & Lautaro score to send Inter into UCL semis

Inter Milan booked their place in the semi -final of the Champions League with an exciting draw against Bayern Munich in San Siro Stadium.

The Italian champions led 2-1 of the first stage, but their advantage was wiped out by Harry Kane's fresh, low strike early in the second half.

That goal led between life and only nine minutes later they were at the front at night and in complete control over the draw.

First Lautaro Martinez brought home from six meters while the ball was friendly to him from a corner.

Three minutes later, another corner and this time that defender Benjamin Pavard was driven in a header of the delivery of Hakan Calhanoglu.

However, Bayern did not give up, and with another 14 minutes they pulled the level thanks to Eric Dier's looping back-post header from a tight angle.

The side of Vincent Kompany insisted on a third goal to force extra time, and in the fifth of six the minutes added, the chance came but Thomas Muller could not lead his header past inter -goalkeeper Yann Sommer.

Despite the late fear, it is Inter that progresses to Barcelona in a seductive last four tie.
