UFC Hall of Famer Jose Aldo's last performance in the Octagon contained just about everything you would like in a final fight.
Aldo and UFC Bantamweight Competent Aiemann Zahabi treated fans at a three-round Slugfest on Saturday evening at UFC 315. Aldo and Zahabi were originally planned to fight at Bantamweight before Aldo was missing the Matchmakers to call it a featherweigh-battle-battle.
Despite the rough weight that was going to UFC 315, Aldo looked in unspoilt state against the rising Zahabi. He won the first two rounds on the score cards of most viewers and almost finished Zahabi in round 3 with a main kick.

But Aldo faded in the last minutes because both he and Zahabi were exhausted in round 3. After three rounds of high-octane output, the jury members scored the fight in favor of Zahabi by unanimous decision.
It was a controversial result on the UFC 315 head card when Aldo and Zahabi fans spoiled with a candidate 'Fight of the Year' in Montreal. After the controversial defeat, Aldo put down the gloves and announced his retirement during an interview after the fight with Daniel Cormier.
This is the second time Aldo withdrew from MMA, after he decided to hang the gloves after a loss for Merab Dvalishvili on UFC 278. But despite the well -known moment, Aldo's Sender -off saw many of his former enemies with praise from close and far back.

Aldo's announced retirement comes only a few weeks before Dustin Poirier is planned to make what is expected to be his last fight on UFC 318. Poirier and Holloway Headline An intriguing map in New Orleans with the BMF belt on the line.
Aldo became the inaugural featherweight champion of the UFC after Zuffa LLC WEC had previously bought in his career. During a long, successful first featherweight title rule, Aldo gained an 18-Fight-winning series with defenses against people like Chad Mendes, Frankie Edgar and Mark Hominick.

Jose Aldo, Dustin Poirier Retirements Signal The end of a UFC era
Aldo's first UFC championship tint was abruptly ended by Conor McGregor at UFC 194. He lost to McGregor in 13 seconds in one of the wildest knockouts in the UFC history.
Aldo went to Bantam weight in 2019 and dropped his 135 pound debut in a controversial loss for Marlon Moraes on UFC 245. He then went out for the then vacant UFC Bantamweight Belt in UFC 251, who fell to Petr Yan with fifth round TKO.
Aldo entered the UFC Hall of Fame in 2023 before returning to the Octagon against Jonathan Martinez on UFC 301. He goes with a 32-9 career record with 17 knockouts.
