Tindall delivers an update on Eddie Howe’s health after he missed MU victory

Jason Tindall gave an update on the health of Eddie Howe after it has been revealed that the Newcastle head coach was sick with pneumonia.

The news came out that Howe would miss the Premier League collision of the Magpies with Manchester United on Saturday evening, with Postsport reporting that the manager had been taken to the hospital after he had been sick towards the end of the week.

Howe then missed the 4-1 Thrashing Newcastle that was delivered to Man United in St James' Park, in which assistant manager Tindall supervised the preparations and went to the Dugout.

After the last whistle, Tindall confirmed that Howe had succeeded in seeing the game and added that he was sure that the result had lifted his spirit. “

The manager shared a public message with fans through the club on Monday, with Newcastle issued a statement written by Howe who thanked supporters and the NHS and hospital staff who treated him.

But while Howe continues to recover in the hospital, Tindall confirmed on Thursday that he will stay in contact with his boss.

“Yesterday it just went a few SMS messages, really minimal contact,” Tindall said.

'The most important thing for the manager is now to rest and restore and not worry about too much except his recovery and that he will get better as quickly as possible.

'I imagine in the coming days, if he feels better, we may have a little more dialogue, but as it looks now, there has been a minimal dialogue.

Howe's NO2 also emphasized that his return to the Dugout would only come if the head coach had fully recovered, with Tindall and Graeme Jones who were in charge of Newcastle's Midweek -collision with Crystal Palace.

When the health is involved, the most important thing is that this is first and foremost above everything else, and I am sure that when Eddie returns, he will ensure that he will alleviate himself in the role, “Tindall continued.

'But it is important that when he returns, he can lead the team as he always does and hopefully that will be soon.

“It's a day-to-day thing, but he is in the best possible hands, and hopefully we can have it here, our leader are as quickly as possible, but only if it is 100 percent good to do this.”

Newcastle did not show any signs of confusion without their head coach on Sunday, with the hosts raging to victory against a flummoxed traveling man United side.

In the immediate aftermath of the game, Bruno Guimaraes devoted the performance and the victory to missing manager Howe.
