Bayer Leverkusen -Manager Xabi Alonso would not confirm his destination this summer, but he announced his exit from the German side on Friday. However, there is little doubt that at some point he will arrive in Real Madrid, with plans that are already going on before his arrival.
There are important changes in the Santiago Bernabeu this summer, with the arrival of Trent Alexander-Arnold also located. In the meantime, Jesus Vallejo will be the first departure, with the future of Luke Vazquez in doubt and uncertainty about Luka Modric. The others go, Diario as Alonso says, Los Blancos has given two players that he would like this summer.
In reality, however, that list was originally three long. Although Alonso stated that he was not aware of Florian Wirtz's future plans, he said he could not promise that he would not try to sign one of his current Bayer Leverkusen team. Wirtz is said to be close to a move to Bayern Munich and Los Blancos will miss it.
At the back, Los Blancos has sustained injuries this season, and in addition to Alexander-Arnold, a central defender is expected. There is a lot of talk about William Saliba and Dean Huijsen, but Alonso has asked Jonathan Tah to help him determine his methods.
Tah is a free agent and reportedly agreed the conditions with Barcelona, but in the midst of doubts about their ability to register, he stays on the market. Manchester United and Bayern Munich are ready to compete for him.
The other player on the shortlist of Alonso is Martin Zubimendi. Los Blancos is linked to the real Sociedad Lynchpin, which has a release clause of € 60 million. Arsenal is said to have concluded a deal for Zubimendi, and only a conversation with Alonso or Real Madrid probably seems to change his destination.
It should be noted that it was recently reported that Los Blancos had excluded the signing of Tah, with the feeling that they should strive for a younger defender. Although Alonso will have a voice in their transfer plans, the Real Madrid -Hierarchy will probably set the agenda and ultimately make the final decisions.
