Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham surprised the world last season, went into a much more attacking role and scored many goals. The Masterstroke of Carlo Ancelotti, however, has carried out his course for Los Blancos, who plan a change in position.
After the exit of Karim Benzema, and signed with Joselu Mato, the only striker, Ancelotti designed a system with Bellingham that arrived in the last third part of Deep, and Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo leads him. Bellingham managed an impressive 23 goals and 13 assists in 43 games. This season he still has a strong 14 goals and 13 assists, but he plays deeper from the following season.
According to Marca, Bellingham will return to a more traditional midfield role in the future. The club has decided that it would be best for the team, and he will probably play in a double pivot next season, or in a three, as he used to do for Borussia Dortmund.
Martin Zubimendi and Alexis Mac Allister are linked to Los Blancos, but with the priority before the summer the backline, Bellingham will go back to play in a deeper role, as he did well against Barcelona in the Copa del Rey Final. They believe that his creative talents will help the team from there, even if he has room to improve defensively.
Another factor that has been taken into consideration is that in his current role, it comes centrally, but that he has to defend the left flank, he has received too much work, something that has physically demanded his toll.
The same exhaust valve reported that Bellingham would probably be excluded in the summer, with surgery on his shoulder that is likely to take place. Depending on whether it is before or after the World Cup club, it will probably be him from most of the preseason, if not the start of the season. This would of course give Bellingham less time to adapt to his new role.
