Sky Sports has a controversial clip from Thierry Henry's Monday Night Football analysis removed that created the play of Manchester United fans.
Henry came in for a whole series of criticism from Man Utd supporters of man after he dissolved the third goal of Newcastle United during their 4-1 thrashing of the Red Devils during the weekend.
The Arsenal legend criticized United Center-Back Leny Yoro, 19, because he apparently looked at the linesman to check for offside while Harvey Barnes hit Noussair Mazraoui's slip to score his second goal of the game.
Henry claimed that he “had never seen it before”, and occurred as the teenager's gaze to the official live in the Sky Sports Studio.
Henry discussed Yoro's reaction and said: “Look at Yoro and what he asks for. I don't know why … I don't know what he is looking at.
“You look at the linesman who tries to see if he's going to save you … about what I don't know. I don't know if he thought there was a offside, I don't know if he thought someone – I – we – I don't know.
“We all know that it is a goal. What are you looking at? I don't really know. I have never seen that before. We all know that it is a goal.”
The clip led to anger at Man Utd -fans who claimed that the analysis of Henry was “pathetic” and “nonsense”.
They wrote: “A younger drag and be performance is only because he now has the taste to be a viral meme. Pathetic things.”
While another added: “I love Henry, but this is nonsense. Frozen is a clip frozen to make a cheap joke at a young center half. If Yoro plays for Fulham or Palace, they would not dream of using this 'analysis'.”
Since that criticism, Sky Sports have made the decision to remove the video from their social channels.
A stationary image of Henry, who replicates Yoro's Blik, still remains on the Sky Sports Premier League X page, in addition to the caption: “If you hear someone hear a package of chips open”.
Sunsport has contacted Sky Sports for comment.
Fans have also responded to the clip that is removed by Sky Sports.
A supporter placed: “Sky Sports has now removed the clip. Some bizarre punditry from Thierry Henry on Leny Yoro …”
And a second added: “Derecht Zo! Thierry is clearly trying to become a meme. He [Yoro] Did nothing wrong, all defenders do it. “
